This breaches every boundary of decency. The magnitude of boorish insensitivity & stupefying perversity, callous indifference and unfounded, profane braggadocio in the face of the horrific atrocities visited upon the people and the sacred land defies words. This is a desecration and a confirmation of the forces at work against indigenous inhabitants of Palestine who have been maligned, robbed, subjugated, tortured, imprisoned, starved, isolated and systematically hunted and murdered -- to facilitate a massive land grab & to extinguish, via ethnic cleansing, a culture, a people & their heritage, to advance a false narrative and to cause fear from onlookers and similarly situated other people groups. Sadly, this is occurring all over the world. In the U.S. alone, we have North Carolina, Los Angeles, Lahaina/Maui, Texas, etc. where overt seizure via floods, scorched earth and other forms of destruction are favored tools/weapons of the oligarchs. And, this (to the conquering class) has become a template for application wherever else they may choose to confiscate resources, based on a history of colonization, conquest and betrayal.
While this is insane and enraging, I think it's just circus distraction to ensure people miss the actual moves they make.
